As the subject says: I´d like to see a feature to turn WYSIWYG-editor on or off while i´m editing a page.

The default WYSIWYG editor FCKEditor has a button "Source" (top left), which let's you switch between WYSIWYG and source view.
AFAIK most WYSIWYG's have such a feature (I'm pretty sure TinyMCE has it too).

Confirming that TinyMCE also has this feature. TinyMCE's option is an "HTML" button in the second row at the right by default.

i like the original idea here... until these web-based editors can deal with code without mukking it up, the ability to toggle the editor on/off on the edit page makes sense. i have several pages and a couple of blobs (all clean and valid code) that cannot be edited with fckeditor. i just got fed up to the point where i turned the stinkin' editor off completely; but that doesn't help people who would be lost without a "word processor-like" editor... so basically it boils down needing a better editor that integrates well with cmsms features, tags & template styles, and outputs valid code without mangling it.
