Dear all,

I'm experiencing a problem with the CSSMenu.js when I use MS-InternetExplorer7.0. When you hover across the menu's they disapprear from under your mouse! The problem does not occur in FireFox2.0. I'm quite sure it also didn't exsist in MSIE6.0.

If you are willing to help me, please go to http://www.mana.nl/cms. In the menu, float over "Voor u Persoonlijk" and then move in the second level, towards "workshops". You should be able to float to "Leven in Balans", but in MS-IntentetExplorer7.0 the menu disappears and you can't get there!
...except in one way: when you float over the left side of the 4 second level items, so, across the capitals P, P and I, towards W of "Workshops", the menu stays 'alive'...! But you won't make it up to "Leven in balans", cause right after the s of "Workshops", it is game over.

Does anyone have a suggestion how to tackle this problem?

The menu is inserted in the site with {cms_module module='menumanager' template='cssmenu.tpl'}.
In the modules list it says version 1.2.

18 views but no answers... I hope I have posted my question in the right/correct/approtriate way. If not, pls let me know.

On my PC the problem continues. Another example: http://www.multiintech.com
I view it in FireFox fine. But in MS-IE 7.0.5730.11IC it is impossible to use the menu. As described in detail in my previous post, the sub-menu's keep on vanishing when I hover across them.


Is this a local problem om my pc? I'll try it from another PC.

In the mean time any hint could help me to pinpoint the problem. Thank you!

Tried a lot, but cannot pinpoint the problem...

Coincidentally, today, I happened to be in the middle of an upgrade SMCMS 0.13 "Canary" to CMSMS 1.0.6 "Niihau". Because this issue is still present on my sites.

In Niihau there is no more "Default CSSMenu Vertical" which has the rollouts to the right. (As far as I can oversee at least, I find the menu business [according to the warning about it, in the defauilt-install-pages] quite complicated).

I now use "Navigation: Simple - vertical"

I haven't solved the problem, I will avoid it.

In IE6 CSSMenu.js workaround works fine, but not in IE7...
