Can't see pages?

I just installed the newest version of CMS made simple.

I'm not sure if it was something I did wrong or what, but when I clicked to go to my homepage, just a blank page shows up. If I click to see any other pages, a blank page also shows up.

Everything is installed in the root, and I have no idea why it's doing this.
When I installed it, I had an index.php page already created with a "site undergoing maintence" message on it. Could this of had anything to do with why this is doing this? Has anyone else ever had this problem or know how to fix it?

Thanks,
Kaila

I think the index.php shows the "site undergoing maintenance" message when you upgrade the files but haven't upgraded the database yet by opening in your browser.

I think you should:
  • re-upload index.php if you changed or deleted it.
  • visit /install/upgrade.php (step 4 in the upgrade process as described here)
If the "site undergoing maintenance" message still persists, go to the admin page, select "Site Admin" -> "Global Settings" from the menu and check if the "Enable Site Down Message" option is enabled.

I had to re-upload the index.php file.
