Recommended Web Hosts

Hi, all -

I was wondering which hosting providers support CMS Made Simple? I want to host a new site on dot5hosting, but they use PHP Nuke by default for their CMS, and won't assist in the installation or support the CMS. I am cool with that, but I wanted to know if any hosts do or who do people 'typically' host with.

Thanks for the help.

I use 1and1 as do all the people I've built sites for from the ground up... http://www.multiintech.com/index.php?page=web_hosting

Never had a single problem, no permissions crap where you can't change anything like I've run into on some sites I've had to fix...

You may have noticed I have installed, even using the Module Manager, and then Zipped modules for others that had no way to install or control them or had some strange permissions problem...

I have called them 2 times that I can recall, just to make sure I had my email/server settings right when I transfered all my domains to them from godaddy, quick to answer and got it right the first time, so I can't tell you if the tech support is good or not having never had to use them since ;) ...

This isn't a CMS specific response, but in general all you need is a web host that provides a control panel with FTP and database access. It shouldn't matter what CMS the web host officially supports. I've had success with http://www.neureal.com.

I've recently switched http://navigatoris.net/ and have had a good experience thus far.
