i have finally installed my cms program but i (dont laugh) still dont know how to make my website visible to the public. at the moment everyone can just see my index page.

how do i make it so it shows the page im making in my cms? e.g a homepage lol

Are you sure you have installed the CMS? Looks like you have just copied the folder into your webspace. You need to unpack all the files and directories into the root, then follow the installation instructions:

You didn't put anything in your root, the folder that says...

Index of /cmsmadesimple-1.0.2/modules/FCKeditorX/FCKeditor/editor/skins/office2003/images

is empty that's ^ the folder clicked to the end, once you have the CMSMS folder unzipped take every thing in it and FTP it to your site,then do the install...

ive installed joomla straight from fantastico because i was having problems getting cmsms up. im going to use this for a while till it is up and running, then maybe change over. so is their a way i can make my joomla homepage my homepage? i know its not cms made simple but i know how great everyone on this forum is at helping out

If I had access to your site I could get CMSMS up and running for you...

Other wise you may need to go to the joomla forums for help, don't forget to read the Security forum on their site, you know the one that has  "10525 Posts in 1339 Topics"  just for security...

You have also installed joomla into a directory instead of the root directory.
You need to install whichever cms you decide to use into the root directory else you can't see it

if you try going into the cmsjoomla dir you get your site

also leaving a few important files in the root dir isn't too clever...
