Hi There,


There's a big error in NMS 1.0.1.. I send one newsletter correct. Everyone get this one but now I want to
send another one and everything goes wrong.

I can't mail true CMSmailer with the "mail". No one get a newsletter, even I get no email with the time etc.

Now I try it with the smtp in CMSmailer. When I wanna send a test mail it works but with NMS 1.0.1 I get
every single email back with this error.

A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its
recipients. This is a permanent error. The following address(es) failed:

  emailadress@hotmail.com
    unrouteable mail domain "hotmail.com"

How is this possible? It's not only with hotmail.com accounts but with all the account. I just get
every single email back at my email adress.

Are there more users with this problem?
How can I fix this?

Actually I am struggling with NMS as well, but for different reasons. Mine does not send any newsletter at present.

Me too.  I just installed NMS and I cannot send via SMTP or Mail setting. I think I must have misconfigured the Mailer setting in CMSMailer Module.  Can someone give me some direction as to how to configure this so that I can receive and send newsletter?

Is there anyone that can this problem fixed? It's doing strange things with CMSMailer. Only the SMTP works and then I get every single mail back.

I have given up on NMS for now and have now someone creating a CMSMS hook for phpList - which is of course not what I like, but which should fix most of my problems and help getting better results.

I have reports that NMS has successfully sent out 7500 messages in one job with no problem. 

If the job appears to be processing, then I would check your mail server logs and provide information here as to exactly what the mail server is saying.  There was another thread that indicated that some people were having problems using NMS to send messages to hotmail servers, etc. because their mail server was not correctly configured.  Some sort of sender verification needed to be setup on the mail server.

Can you give me the direct link? I like to try it out since I just recently installed phplist.  Thanks.

The direct link to phpList? At present there is no such module to integrate phpList into CMSMS - that is why I have asked one of our PHP coders to create one which will at least take a few weeks so it might be finished by the beginning of next year.
