School Website

Hi

I need a CMS for our school website. The vast majority of cms I've seen so far are stupidly over complicated. It looks like CMSmadesimple is the kind of thing I'm looking for but I'm not sure.

I need to have a simple interface so that teachers can edit their departments web pages but nobody elses. Ideally I'd like them to be able to login and go straight to the website so they can edit pages in situ as they see them on the browser (like the edit tag does now). At the moment having to login and navigate through menus is just too much. I also don't want them to have any access at all to anything else i.e. tags, extensions.

I know this must sound like overkill but I need it to be this simple else they will never use it!

Is there any kind of thing that I can do using cmsmadesimple?

Thanks for your time

Id say do a test install, create new user group some test users and test it out.

Users can be restricted to edit just one or two pages. group restrictions can disable stuff like file uploading and so one..

hope this helps

this is my school site - http://www.falingepark.com/ made with CMSMS, it's very basic. Staff can login and edit Faculty pages etc. If there are any problems they can approach me for help, with CMSMS it's usually easily solved. I'm no web designer, and as Mark has pointed out, some (ok, a lot) of the code needs cleaning up.
