I wanted to start yearly maintenance on our website, so tried to access the plugins download, but dev.cmsmadesimple.org seems to be not working.
Is this a recent issue which will be solved quickly, or is there something else happening?

Thanks for any insight when dev subdomain is available again!

We are aware of the issue, it just happened to coincide with multiple dev team members being on vacation. We'll have it back up soon.

No problem dev.cmsmadesimple.org is Ok
