Hi,

Check out http://www.carepark.com.au.

Within a month or two there will also be carepark.co.nz running off the same CMSMS install.

Thanks so much to everyone for all their help along the way!

Matt

I take it you have a flash menu on the left?...

I use adblock in Firefox and can't see the menu... only if I turn it off and go to another page do I see it...

Yeah, the client wanted something flashy. You can get to all the same menu options from the nav in the footer. Also, try looking at the site with styles turned off.

Then you need to do one of two things:

1) Script to detect those that will not see the Flash menu and present an alternative to them

2) Go back and educate the client that making the main site navigation Flash and thus risking not every visitor being able to actually access the site (not many people take that much notice of text links at the bottom of the page) is not recommended online practice.

Clients aren't always, if they actually don't know or have experience in an area that you - the online "expert" they're paying money for - do then you need to guide them.

Thanks for you input, guys.

Can anyone suggest the best script/method to do this?

Wow, the flash menu manages to crash my firefox completely...
It happens when I enter one of the 2 squares (brown and blue) underneath the photo-buttons in the menu.
(firefox-1.5.0.8 with netscape-flash-7.0.68 on linux)
