CMSMS moving to Github?

I noticed that you're planning to move the development of CMSMS to Github (
http://viewsvn.cmsmadesimple.org/revisi ... &peg=13204). Is this real, and if so, what's the timeline? I'm interested to contribute, but have no idea how to use Subversion.

It is real, and in the new year we should be sharing more info as we have it. Like most things with volunteers, it relies on their availability so currently there's no set timeline.

Things are shaping up nicely on the GIT front. We just had our monthly meeting and we are planning to go live imminently. The repository is not yet public but will land at
https://github.com/cmsmadesimple/cmsmadesimple. Some consistency cleanup will occur in SVN too.
We have a few guide readme docs to add in to orient any new developers coming to the project and then we are ready to go live. We would expect that to be within January (which is quite reasonably 'the new year'). Keep watching this space and checking the address. We'll announce across the board once we have added the final bits to be satisfied.

Nota The

Indeed JC - I have been told that was part of the 'Some consistency cleanup will occur in SVN too', as mentioned. How about you leave it with us until a full announcement.
