A great feature would be the ability to list templates in the same manner as the content pages.

I am thinking from the point of view of making it much easier to organise your templates.

At the moment they are set alphabetically...

um ok... im confused are you implying that I can currently adjust the cms to make the templates display in a heirarchy tree?
