I have tried to follow instructions to get this set up. Having uploaded the installer pho file, I get a 500 error in my browser. What have I missed?

You'd need to check the php error log to see what the error is. Location can vary by host, so check with them if you can't find it. Also make sure to read the readme that comes with the installer for other troubleshooting options.

Thanks for the swift response. Stupid question number 2. Where will I find the PHP logs, and will I be able to access them via FTP?

It varies by host, but the easiest way to find out is to create a phpinfo file (Google for tips if you don't know how). If you still can't figure it out, and your host isn't forthcoming with the info, you may want to hop into our Slack and get me or any other devs available to walk you through it (or get login info and quickly check).
