Hello,

I'm using LISE to display a list which I wanted to sort by a particular field definition. The "orderby" parameter works apart from when sorting by custom field. I found the following bug which is still open http://dev.cmsmadesimple.org/bug/view/12039. Does anyone have any ideas on how to go around the issue?

I just disabled only_full_group_by, any decent host should be able to do that for you if you can't do it yourself.

I think a new LISE version is very close, but I know JoMorg is busy with lots of forks, and working on the core, so I'm not sure of a date.

As a potential workaround, sorting via javascript isn't too hard.

Thanks for the comment. I've asked the host to disable that so hopefully it sorts the issue. Its weird because I've checked previous versions of LISE and it works as expected.

I can try Javascript sorting, however this site has the potential of having a lot of LISE items in the same page so ideally the items are sorted upon render.
