Aggregating news from multiple websites

Wondering if anyone has done this/can offer advice ...
I have 3 CMSMS sites each with their own news module running... I want to aggregate these news articles and display on a 4th website - so that on this 4th site the news articles appear in date order but are a mixture of articles from the other 3 sites. I'm guessing RSS needs to be involved ... not event sure if its technically possible. Any modules that will help me do this?
