Hi

Can anyone explain how to get the hit counter working on the latest version? 2.2.15

I know it is marked 'Stale' may or may not work?

We have another site using version cmsms 2.2.12 and that works fine.

Both sites have the same CGExtensions version 1.65.2

The error we get is
ERROR at line 1066 of file /home/buscaor/mysite/lib/classes/class.CmsLayoutTemplate.php:
Could not find default CmsLayoutTemplate row for type popular.

Both sites are using template Bandb. with following call in the page.

{HitCounter action=popular limit=100}

It sounds like you're trying to use the action=popular mode on this site, but don't have a template for it, or don't have one set as default.

In Design Manager, create a new template of type HitCounter::Popular List, go to the Advanced tab on that template and set it to default, then hit submit. You can customize it if needed, too - but there has to be at least one and it doesn't look like the module creates one on install.

The default {HitCounter} action will work fine without doing this, it's only needed if your're calling the popular pages action.
