I need to create fields that are pull down lists, as is common and used elsewhere within CMSMS, it is not an option in the CGBlog module.

I’ve looked for class and templates in the modules|CGBlog directory and can’t find where to add that class

Has anyone added that basic data type to it before?

It would be easier to create a module_custom template that just uses a text input for that field, but is shown to the editor as a select input. You could even add in some custom js to make it a multiple select. With some creativity there you can do almost anything.

It you just start modifying a module it will cause you more issues in the long-run, unless you fork it and take full control.

The other option would be to use a different module that has the functionality that you need. e.g. News or LISE.
