Stripe Gateway double-charge (webhook?)

I'm using the Stripe Gateway for payment processing, and for some reason, in test mode it works perfectly, but in live mode it completes TWO purchases.
I thought it might have something to do with a Stripe setting (as it works fine in Test mode) but after many back-and-forths with Stripe tech support they seem to think it's a webhook issue.
Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?
