FEU Properties not working

I built out a site for a client and added the FEU for a password protected section for the board. It works fine, but as I attempted to build out the user properties, they are not updating.

Started with name and position as the properties. Once the password protected section was created, I added to the user properties items such as address and phone.

the new properties show up under the 'user properties' tab, but only the original properties show up when adding or editing a FEU. The user is not getting the properties associated with them.

All other parts of the site seem to be working fine. Using CMSMS v2.2.14. FEU version 3.2.2.

Are the properties assigned to a group that the user is in? After creating the property, go to the groups tab and set that property to optional/required/something.
