CompanyDirectory routes problem

From the front end every time a user updates his company listing a new route is created in the cms_routes table (auto create url slag is on).
There is a difference in the way the route is written by the CD module and the System Maintenance "update routes"
the CD writes it as s:6:"compid" while the System Maintenance as s:9:"companyid"
Updating a listing from the admin will trigger "the url slag .. is invalid"
