CMS Made Simple Forums

I keep getting this error while working on a new site:

CMSMS\Database\DatabaseConnectionException

Both on the front-end and in the admin, just a white screen with the above text.

What does it mean? How do I go about trouble shooting ... I've tried obvious stuff like clearing the cache, and removing some modules I installed.... not sure what else to do.

Sounds like your server is having random connection problems to the database. Is the database on localhost or a separate server?

There may be more detail in your php error log.

is on localhost ...will try contacting the host see if they can shed any light
