Question about Products module

Hi, i've used the productsmanager module of Calguy for some websites.

For the simple products, this is working fine.

Ive read about the product options that you have to add each option with several names. So if i want to sell a tshirt in S and M with colors Red and white , i have to add the product option: shirt-red-s, shirt-red-m, shirt-white-s, shirt-white-m

I can understand why that might be handy.

But what if i need the following:

Tshirt with
- Colors
- Sizes
(these 2 could be a dropdown)
- custom text (input field for customer)
- custom made (checkbox for customer, checked is yes, not checked is no)

I want to add more options like this, but this is just a example of some needs.

Is this even possible for this module?

Or should i switch to a different CMS with better modules?
I dont want to switch, but i dont see if there is a option to add checkboxes, multiple dropdowns and/or input fields to choose from for the customer.

Thanks!

Dondion

You can extend/fork the module, or contact the developer and see if they would be willing to extend it, or add a companion module to add the necessary features.

I've had dozens of modules customized, and many more written from scratch, by various developers. It's not particularly expensive in most cases, and a good way to give back to the open source community.
