My error log has been growing over 1mb per day, which I suspect is not normal. I have found a couple of the causes and removed them. I have three remaining issues. The first concerns CG Feedback and pops up 1-5 errors in succession every few minutes

The Error: [25-Oct-2017 08:54:56 Australia/Adelaide] PHP Notice: Undefined index: extra in /home/mansweb/public_html/modules/CGFeedback/lib/class.comment.php on line 18

Lines 13-21 of class.comment.php I have had trouble getting the module to work, but all now seems dandy. However the sheer number of errors is a bit concerning.

Any clues? Can I just ignore this?

Note that those are not errors but notices.
For production environments you better lower the log level (or don't worry about a few MBs of logs).

In some cases a notice can be a hint to an error that occurs later on in the script. In this specific case it will be fine.

This is probably a dumb question, but what triggers the notice?
I ask this because I have finally tracked down and cleared another error in the logs which was very clearly triggered by the loading of a page. That is, If I, or someone else went to a page, the error was triggered.

But in the case of these notices from CGFeedback, there is no correspondence to the visitor rate. (I only wish there was!! 3000+ an hour would be pretty nice!!) Andrew

There is a minor sequence issue in the line you posted, better add a bug report for the developer in the Forge.
