The default template "CSSmenu top + 2 columns" is messed up. I accidentally changed some setting and am not able to find what was changed. How can I switch back to de default template as it came with the installation.

There's currently no roll back mechanism CMSms inside ... the one and only option is to work every time with a copy of original.

Are you meaning this  ;)?

Code: Select all

<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN"
"http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">

<__html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" xml:lang="de" lang="de">

<!-- The sitename is changed in Site Admin/Global settings. {title} is the name of each page -->

<!-- Don't remove this! Metadata is entered in Site Admin/Global settings. -->

{stylesheet}
<!-- This is how all the stylesheets attached to this template are linked to -->

That is the one I meant, but I noticed the same behaviour on other default pages as well. If you choose this template and "set all pages", the hyperlink on the bottom jumps left. So I guess re-installing won't solve this behaviour as it didn't happen by changeing the template.

if you reinstall with "create all tables, warning destroys all data" it will restore your templates BUT you will lose everything else also (thats why its good to take backups ;)

If you just need to copy/paste some default install templates/stylesheets go here...

Mark,

I noticed the same behaviour on the site you pointed at. With the "CSSmenu top + 2 columns" the hyperlinks shift on mouse-over. I tried to fix it on my own site by setting the overall width to 99,8%. This fixes that "next page"-link to change position. However by including {news} in the free column, not only the links change position, but also the text goes with it.
