Flat Rate Shipping 2 (FRShipping2) - What does 'Label' do?

Hello All,
I am using the Flat Rate Shipping 2 module for a webshop I am developing at the moment. Mostly for lack of anything better. But it is doing the trick so far..
I have one question that I cannot find anywhere in the help file:
What does 'Label' do?
On the admin page where you fill in the max weight and the price each row can have a label as well.
These don't seem to do anything really; if the weight goes over the 1st bracket it goes onto the next regardless of label. But I was just wondering if these labels could be used for anything..
