All upper case for ui-button-text

The buttons everywhere in the CMS are all uppercase nowadays. This is more difficult to read, did you guys vote on the decision to change this in 2.2? What were the arguments to do so?

Same question for me: I don't understand this change as it's more difficult to read (many studies prove that).

It's really hard to read, when it's all caps!
LET'S TRY TO USE ALL CAPS AND SEE IF YOU LIKE IT BETTER THAN SMALL LETTERS

But why was it changed in the first place?
It's annoying to change/alter the default template if you already is used to small letters.
