Is it possible for Users to add CONTENT blocks on-the-fly?

Hi,

I have a website I'm building in CMSMS for a customer.

They want to be able to add new Students to one page, which means:
- Student Name
- below that will be an image
- to the right of the image will be some text.

This has to be as easy as possible for them to do.

I have created a {CONTENT} block, and made a Table in it, with sample text and images.

I thought they could just copy the table, and paste it below the first table, whenever they wanted to add a new Student.

Problem : you can't copy tables in the FCKeditor.

In fact, it is really a pain.

Is it possible to have some kind of 'ADD' BUTTON in the Content editor, so they can ADD a new 'content' block each time?

Or has someone come up with a really cool way to do something just like this?

Hope you can help! Thanks.

what about using a Cataloger module? http://dev.cmsmadesimple.org/projects/cataloger/

Also I would myself choose news module, which is somewhat similar to the functionality you require. I know it would not be so logical to use news, but I would :)

I've just checked out the cataloguer link - i'm new to CMSMS - where do I find a demo, or read what it can do?  ???

Well, i have never used the cataloger myself :) That's why I myself would use the News module :D

you can find the cataloger module description in the Wiki: http://wiki.cmsmadesimple.org/index.php ... /Cataloger

Hi, I downloaded Cataloguer but couldn't get it to work the way I wanted in my new website, so maybe this News module might work for me too.

I'll have a look
