Company directory : few questions

Hi,
i'm trying to use, in the right way, Compagny Directory on a website but i have few troubles with it, that you can maybe help me to solve.
for the moment, in the main content i have:

Tou can use zipcode from the two examples in line.
1°) On my landing page i would like to have a summary of all compagnies , with a pinned map and a zip code and category search form.
I succed to put all and when i make a search, the result page only give me a summary and a map but i would like to keep the search form for people can make a new search on the same page instead of coming back to the prev one to do it.
What is the best way? include the search form inside the summary template or put the search form outside of the main content ?
2°) in my search form, i put a {$actionid}cd_reset button to clear my previous search but when i click on it, my content witch was the summary result of the search is replaced by the search form only. i would like, on reset, to have in the content, my landing page (summary + map + search form empty) .
How can i success to not have my landing page on search reset and not a second iteration of the search form (the first one is my original one, outside of the main content) ?
3°) In the search form the are {$actionid}cd_lat and {$actionid}cd_long inputs filled by navigator geolocation. If i fill the zipcode input to make a research on it with a specify radius, the search module doesn't lookup the zipcode first as it should do and just makes his search around the lat & long coordinates.
What can be the reason it doesn't work properly ?
4°) when i make a search with positive result, how to sort results by distance?
