I upgraded from cmsms 1.12.2 to 2.1.4.
The Frontend looks fine except for the registration page for members, which comes up without anny style en without the content.
To sort out this problem later I first tried to upgrade the following available module upgrades:
CGExtensions 1.53.7 to 1.53.8
CGSimpleSmarty 1.10 to 2.1
TinyMCE 2.9.12 to 3.1.3
When I look under the Installed tab of the Module Manager these modules don't appear to be upgraded en have under Status the message: "This mudule is awaiting upgrade"
I then cleared the cache en tried the upgrades again, but get every time the message: "cms core must be upgraded before this operation can succeed"
What can I do to solve this problem?

I have the same problem upgrade from 2.0.1. For example, in the Installed tab, Module Manager reports the CGExtensions is at 1.49.9 and needs to be upgraded but in the Available Modules tab, CGExtensions is shown at 1.53.8 and Installed. Clearing the cache does nothing to change this. However, the site seems to be working OK so I'll just continue working with it.

UPDATE
This does cause a problem as I'm unable to open most of the items in the Extensions menu so I'm going to have to revert to my backup.

It happened to me today...
The upgrade process probably timed out at some point, and not finished its job. Database scheme was still 200 instead of 201 for CMSMS 2.1.4

Freshening didnt help in this case, it doesnt touch the database.

I fixed it by manually lowering the values in /lib/version.php to my startpoint, version 2.0.1.1 and db scheme 200.
Starting the upgrade again and it worked this time!

What worked for me was to install the upgraded modules and clearing the cache BEFORE updating, first to 2.1.3 and then 2.1.4. In 2.1.3 I had to Upgrade a couple of modules but this worked OK and the 2.1.4 upgrade worked without a problem.

A refresh dit not solve the problem for me.
I now restored from backup to cmsms 1.12.2.
Before the restore however I deletede all the files and all the tables from the database.
I found out earlier that if you don't do this you will get after a subseqeunt upgrade to cmsms 2 problems, such as double disigns and double templates and that the Navigator module would not ugrade.
After that I upgraded to cmsms 2.1.4 with the expanded zip file and upgraded sucesfully the modules CGExtensions and CGSimpleSmarty.

Had same problem after upgrade from 2.0.1.1 to 2.1.4

CGSimpleSmarty and LISE could not be upgraded after update.
I just uninstalled the old version of CGSimpleSmarty and installed the newest version (2.1.2)
Afterward I could upgrade LISE as normal.

It seems in my case to have something to do with CGSimpleSmarty.
