URL's of the news module

Hello all,
I hope i'm posting this in the correct section of the forum. I have a problem and I can't seem to figure out how to fix this.
Currently I have this url as a detail url for a news article:
https://www.domainname.com/index.php?mact=News,cntnt01,detail,0&cntnt01articleid=3&cntnt01detailtemplate=News%20Detail%20Sample&cntnt01returnid=43
How can I change this to look like:
https://www.domainname.com/news/atriclename
