Ok... busy designing a link-page... designing it in FireFox, as usual.

I took the "CSSmenu top + 2 columns" template, got rid of the search and print-bit, and added two banner-tags below the sidebar-content.

In the CSS I didn't change much, just some colours and the top picture.


Everything looks great, until I wonder what it would look like in IE.

Looks great in IE, as long as you don't move your mouse. As soon as you move your mouse, the main content jumps down so it's below the last banner on the sidebar.

CMSMS version 1.02.  Banners 2.1.0.  IE6 SP2.  FireFox 1.5.0.7

Perhaps I should add to this that the content on that page is arranged in two columns using a table. On the next page the content is not, and it displays fine.

So the question comes down to this:

Can I make IE stop being sucky with tables, OR can I divide the main content area into two pieces of content?

I have tried the latter (using some of the code from the sidebar), but I always seem to end up with two colums, and the right one starts where the left one stops.
