Page content does not show in 'editor'

Website using CMSMS 2.1.2.

Site online looks fine with all text etc visible. However, content does not show when trying to edit page using 'Edit Content Page'. Blank space is all that is there in the 'Content' area.

Very odd. Any ideas folks please?

Thanks

Martin

ps 'Preview' works OK & content is visible

This site was upgraded from 1.12xx and worked fine but now things have deteriorated. I can't even see the page HTML.

No site information and not enough detail to locate your problem.

General answer because you no details: it is probably something wrong with a module you have installed (like it isn't 2.x compatible), something in your template, or a site setting or configuration.

Sounds like a WYSIWYG editor problem? Try My Preferences > My Account > User Preferences tab > Select WYSIWYG to use (swap to the other one).

What admin theme are you using? Only OneEleven is supported.

One Eleven

I think I have sorted the problem out. The WYSIWYG of choice is TinyMCE. The 2 options for this module are Minimal and Advanced. I chose Advanced, with the result that nothing showed in the editor. I then chose Minimal and, lo and behold, the content appeared in the editor.

I think that this therefore is a TinyMCE problem. I will remove and reinstall, and see what happens.

Anyone else have this problem? It is a new one to me.

Where are you seeing that? Could not find on my version, although I am a little behind you on TinyMCE module version 3.1.

Load Tiny. Click on it in 'Extensions' and, with my copy, you get the option of 2 profiles: Minimal & Advanced. You can choose either and edit what it produces using the 'Edit profile' box on the r/h of the screen.
