Using thumbnails with CMSMS : one solution!

Hi there,

I've started using CMSMS and I love it!

I have a new client [an art gallery who sells paintings] who wants to easily add thumbnails to new product pages, and I'm not sure how to do it.

The Plan
  • to have one product page [page A] with one thumbnail [image 1] for each painting and a brief description
  • when that thumbnail image is clicked, it will go to a new page [page B] for that ONE artist's painting [this bit is easy]
  • on this new page [page B], the original thumbnail image will now appear as a larger size [image 2] with a description
  • at the bottom of this same page [page B] , the client wants to see 3 more thumbnails [images 3, 4, 5] which can be clicked on
... and here's the tricky bit ...
  • when one of these thumbnails [images 3, 4, 5] is clicked, it will open a new window [popup page C] , with 'arrows' for Next and Previous, showing only the images connected to this one artist.
The client wants to be able to easily manage all of this through the CMS without having to do any html coding.

Does anyone have a suggesion on how best to do this with CMSMS?  Is it some kind of simple 'image gallery'?

It has to be REALLY, REALLY EASY for the client.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!
Cheers

======= UPDATE =====

After trolling the forum here, and looking at the Album module [what a shame there is no 'demo' link for each of the modules :( ], I have found a solution - I'm sure there are more, but this is a start - I just have to try it out.  Thanks Russ for this:

By what do you mean "Demo Link" for modules?...
