Any know of a generic CRUD module in the forge?

First off, is it just me, or is finding viable modules in the Forge is hard?
I'm looking for a basic CRUD module that I can replicate for multiple purposes on a single site. I'm thinking something like the News module, but with the ability to add fields.For example, a simple jobs list or personnel directory.
I'm running CMSMS 2.1.2.
Ideas? Thanks.
