Is it possible to have two instances of CGBlog installed? I need to basically house 2 separate blogs that function independently of one another, called different things but unsure how to go about it. I currently have CGBlog installed now.

Different URL, different categories.

You can separate them using categories, other wise you will have to rework cgblog into another module and have to do it for every upgrade of the module...
