Best approach to create a frontend user login screen

Hi
Being new to cms made simple, I would like the best approach to add a login screen which is hidden from the site to enable specific users to add content to the site - via form based.
This is completely separate to the site/admin side I believe

Incidentally I am using version 2.0 of CMS Made Simple.
