Upcoming Events List

Hi all,
I need a suggestion for this problem: I have to manage my Upcoming Events List, about 400 per year. Each event has a subject, a body and eventually some attachments.
Something like "news article" but date field is usually in the future. I think that latest version of news module can't manage this occurrences.
Which is (if exist) the best module for this task according to you?
