Getting to increase the Microtiny sidebar content area

Hi,
Does anyone have a quick and easy way of increasing the MCE editor (Microtiny editor) that goes with the CMSmadeSimple backend? Especially the one that features the sidebar content is really hard to enlarge. The sidebar MicroTiny has a span like this:
<span id="sidebar_parent" class="mceEditor defaultSkin" role="application" aria-labelledby="sidebar_voice"> which restricts the table within. I can't seem to find where to alter this and I don't understand why it has to be so small
Any help would be appreciated!
