Many copies of Designs and Templates after upgrade 1.x - 2.x

Hi,

I am trying to do an upgrade from latest version of CMS Made Simple 1.x to 2.0.1.1

The CMS is updating [with some errors] but after update I've got multiple Designs and Templates. Multiple copies of the same content.
Here's the sample picture of it.

After the update the main pages are not linked to the css, but that's not major issue, it can be fixed manually in couple of minutes.

My question is, how I can prevent CMS Made Simple from making multiple 'Designs pages' and 'Templates pages' in Design Manager ?
I would like to have only that one from the old version.

Please note, that I've deleted non used content / pages / css / blocks / etc from old version of CMS made simple. Also I have a backups, so no worries.

The plugins are of course updated, tables optimized, and cache cleaned. Any ideas how to deal with that ?
Many Thanks in advance,
Best Regards

Okay. I did a look through the upgrade code, and you could be experiencing a problem with variable re-use. It is weird that this has not cropped up before though, as this code has been tested a couple of hundred times already.

I've changed the code in svn.

In the mean time, once the upgrade is complete, I'd recommend just bulk deleting the duplicates.

Hi calguy1000,

Thank You very much for fast respond. Indeed I've downloaded the newest files from the svn, I guess Your commit to my case is this one: svn

However, it's not working for me. I've replaced those files on data.tar.gz package and did the upgrade (using extended installer) it went well, but still no luck. There issue that I've described in the first post is still present.

I don't want to ask this question (for real) I should not ask. What's the ETA for next release if You could kindly answer that ? I know that You will probably mad at me for breaking the golden rule "do not ask for ETA`s". Seriously, I am mad at myself for writing that.

Best Regards,
Lukasz
