Mac OS X Help!

Hi, I'm trying to install "cmsmadesimple" locally on my Mac os 10.4.8, but so far I'm failing miserably. Is there any tutorial for dummies like me available as to how to do this? I'm not a developer, so I'm not familiar with technical instructions presented in the installation notes such as "CHMOD these to 777".

Any help will be highly appreciated. Thanks!

(I really wish CMSs installation were wizard-like, like most software out there. Just a thougth)

mlk4343, CMS MS on the Mac is easy and works very well - this assumes you're not on a Mac Server and are using this Mac for development??
But lets start with some basics...

1. Do you have your web server up and running with PHP?
2. Do you have your MySQL server up and running?
3. Do you have the CMS folder copied into you web server document space? Assuming /Library/WebServer/Documents/cms/???
Let me know where you are up to and we can take it form there.

You might also like to note that many people upgrade the installed WebServer/PHP/MySQL to later editions. But for the meantime lets get you up and running ;-)
