Something wrong with urls - /#sthash.f9Ik31nd.dpbs

Hello everyone, I can't figure out why I'm getting this on the URL bar: http://www.lifethisway.com/#sthash.Vg44NB5j.dpbs
instead of this: http://www.lifethisway.com/about Try clicking this pretty url link and you will see it turn into the one above!
I'm running the latest version 1.12 with the basic modules installed. I had no problems setting up the Pretty urls, but when I started to use the News module, I started having this problem.
But the /about page is just a regular content page, meaning it's not under a news article.
Here's another example for an actual news article link. It should be this: http://www.lifethisway.com/building-success-1
But instead it shows this: http://www.lifethisway.com/#sthash.PqfPAkzN.dpbs

In my news module/options I have a page selected under "Default page to use for detail views:". Also in my page calling the news module I have the detailpage parameter set like this: {news detailpage="news"}
One of the things I tried was to leave the "Default page to use for detail views:" blank, but then it would not use the correct template I want to display the detail view.
Any help or suggestions will be greatly appreciate it. Thank you
