Hi,

Maybe I'm missing out on something very simple, I also couldn't find it in previous topics.
I can't seem to figure out how to style the news detail page. As it's doesn't have a template as such I cannot attach a stylesheet and the stylesheets I wrote already don't affect it.
Thanks for help.

News is displayed on a page, a page is connected to a page template and a page template has zero or more stylesheets attached. On of these stylesheets could contain the news styling.

A news entry is not handled as a page in the backend but as an entry within "News" where I also write the News Summary. Therefore I don't know how to apply neither template nor stylesheet to a news-entry.

I have also created a page with the same name, tried to set it as the "Detail Page" (content > News > News entry > Preview) but that doesn't seem to work either as I can only assign stylesheets to templates, not to pages.

The "Detail Template", selectable within that same path doesn't let me choose from the normal templates but only from the News > Detail Templates which I can't assign a stylesheet to.

Hope at least the problem is understandable.

A default install contains pages with the News showing with links to the detail, look at the template for one of those and you will see the default News style sheet attached to each template, use that as a starting point.
