Control URLS from News module

I can't seem to find an answer on a question I am having.

I have build a website with CMSMS (like I mostly do besided Wordpress) and activated pretty urls. But in this case I am also using the news module that comes with the CMSMS installer. Besides Formbuiler I have not (yet) installed any 3th party modules so far.

Here's the problem: since I activated pretty urls I still can't seem to make the news module act the same way. E.g. general pages work fine (mysite.com/about-us) but the news module doesn't (mysite.com/news/1/65/news-title). I would like it to rename the url more seo friendly or 'prettier'. For example: mysite.com/news/news-title.

The documentation of CMSMS and the config.php or .htaccess doesn't mention the news module specific. Only pretty urls in general.

Does anyone know how to make the news module act the same way as the rest of my site with pretty urls?

Language of the site is Dutch so also the term 'news' is officially 'nieuws' (e.g. mysite.nl/nieuws/naam-van-nieuwsitem).

News module: v2.14.4
CMSMS: v1.11.11

First the urls created by the News module (mysite.com/news/1/65/news-title) are pretty urls and renaming them as you suggested won't help SEO.

Second, if look in the News module when you create an entry you will see a URL field where you can set it.

Thank you for the reply and advise.

With SEO I also meant "user friendly". "/news/1/60" for example can't be really called SEO friendly not to mention user experience friendly..

Secondly, defining/customizing the url every time I or my client wants to place a post/news items, will require a manual setting of the url while it should be automaticly created, bases upon the title of the post/news item.

Also the website is running under a foreign language: Dutch. The URL is "news" and I want it automaticly be converted to Dutch instead of English. There must be some way to fix this, maybe the same way as the problem above?

Better use CGBlog next time, it is a fork of the News module but has much more features including option to change the name in the url.
