Hello, I am running the following configuration:

CMS version 1.11.10
PHP version 5.4.27
MySQL version 5.5.37-cll
Apache version 2.2.27

I am using the News Module version 2.14.2 and am having problems sorting the articles correctly. I post an article and it does show on the page but it does not sort in the correct order. I can change the order from ascending or descending...but it still does not sort correctly. I can't seems to get it to sort by end date. I put sortby news_date and it puts October before September....and September dates are not ordered correctly I have a screenshot file attached to show what I have set up.

You tried changing the (global) date settings (strftime). Might be related, yy-mm-dd hh-mm-ss. Just a wild guess though...
