How do I put a file on my site for others to download it

Hi i have built my site but I do not know how to put a file or document on the site so that others visiting the site can download it anyone enlighten me.

Why not just put the file on the server and then create a link to it? Should work as a charm.

I think he´d like to say that he wanted a download managed system. Like a download counter and others...

calguy1000 is working on an uploads module that should handle that. I'm not sure how much farther he has to go, but it will be very nice when it's done. I'll probably be moving the module downloads from the wiki to that when it's finished.

Check the wili.... the uploads module for 0.10 is there, and will allow you to manage and keep track of what people upload and download.
