Hi,
with the module listit I've created a list of books, in the detail template which smarty code I need to enter to move to the prev/next book without going back to the list?

You would need a UDT to get the next/previous active article from the database and then pass it to Smarty, then do the magic in your templates. I have done this on numerous sites. If you would like me to look at offering you a quote to implement it PM me.
