Forms, storing to the database ans sorting/filtering

Hi I am very new to CMSMS and I am constructing a Web site which requires client data to be obtained through a form, subsequent storage on the database and then filtered retrieval based on the form's "Surname" field. I am using Formbuilder and Formbrowser.

I successfully constructed a form but have had zero success with the database side using FormBrowser.

It was said to me on another CMSMS forum that Formbuilder and Formbrowser have not been updated for a couple of years and it would be surprising if it worked at all!!!

It there a current extension (s) that I can achieve my requirements with or is Formbuilder and Formbrowser functional? If so can anyone help me with configuration.

Use ListIt2 aka ListItExtended with either:

- FormBuilder and Stikki's UDT http://www.i-do-this.com/blog/FormBuild ... xtended/57

or

- ListIt2FEEDit which generates frontend forms for ListIt2 instances.

Both allow front end input to be saved in a database.
