hi
tried this cms at a friends last week - and just installed it at my own site. all installation went fine - but I cannot get to any editor. what ever pages/content I click - I get the same long list of content - and nothing happens if I click of them again??
looks like this:

CMS Made Simple Administrations Panel

Start
Indhold
Sider
Filhåndtering
Billedhåndtering
HTML Blobs
Nyheder
Layout
Skabeloner
Stylesheets
Menu Håndtering
Theme Manager
Brugere/Grupper
Brugere
Grupper
Gruppe tilknytning
Gruppe tilladelser
Udvidelser
Moduler
Tags
Hændelses Håndtering
Brugerdefinerede tags
Modul Håndtering

hope someone knows what I've kone wrong - or missed to do!

Some software and version info would be useful.
This is a 1.0.x install? A clean install?
Similar errors occur when there are non-1.0-compatible modules present in the modules folder.

it's a 1.0.2 "Maui" - whatever the last means.
everything went fine - and everything was validated

check your apache error log to see what it's saying.

FYI: 'Maui" is the name of the 1.0.2 release.

So, you only installed the CMS system, you did not try to install any additional modules? If you did, try renaming or deleting all non-core modules.
Did you try re-installing (delete, upload, install) cmsmadesimple?

The apache error log is a file where the apache webserver logs errors. It usually resides in /var/log/apache.
If you're making use of webhosting you may have access to the server logs using shell or ftp access, or through a web-based administration panel (depends on the hosting company), or requesting them to mail you the logs may be the only way to get them.
