More content-fields, and have it sortable

Hi everyone,

I would love to have your help, since I am not grasping the idea of how to do this.

My client wants to add a section to its startpage. I have a picture here that will tell you more than words ;)

I just made the design in photoshop of the added feature. It is to the right - in which you can see a 5-sections/links, that on mouseover will open up more content.

I know how to to the frontend-programming. But I am not that good at using CMSMS though to enable this content in the admin for my client ;/

Global blocks could be used I guess. But this site is also to be used in multilingual site (4 languages).

And if it is possible, I would need to be able to rearrange the order of the 5 content-sections.

Is this even possible in the CMSMS?

These are the fields I need:

SECTION 1
- Header (simple textfield)
- Content (text-editor)
- Link (simple textfield)

SECTION 2, SECTION 3, SECTION 4, SECTION 5 will have the same simple fields as SECTION 1.

But then I would also need to set the order of the sections if possible.

Global block seems to be to easy to setup, but the need of having more fields, multilingual, and setting the order of appearance.

I am more used to develop for Wordpress, and there I would know how-to, but not in CMSMS.

For multilingual I plan to use the "MleCMS Module", I hope that one should work nicely.

I'd suggest ListitExtended (aka Listit2 aka LI2).

Anytime you can think of a 'list' you probably can use it.

It has summary view (for frontpage) and perhaps you can use detail view for 'read more' or just link to a normal page (it has fields for that too).

Multi language: you need to build that yourself by duplicating all fields per language or maybe use categories per language.

It can definitely be made with this module. So have a look at it, try it and if you're stuck just ask.

I've used News exactly like that...
