Semi-Experienced Noob question

I am building my site. I've built and tweaked quite a few. Mostly lately using site templates like WordPress, Joomla, etc... But I have extensively modified them.

So I want to post my business site as a single page horizontal scroller. Actually I'd only have about 4 fields or pages of data.

I have yet to find any templates or themes for CMS that accomplish this. Maybe I'm not looking in the right area or for the right thing?

Baring that, I suppose I could build it from the ground up. I wouldn't mind this option, but I'm new to Content management systems. I'm really not sure where I'd start.

What I mean is that I know some of the different components I'd use. CSS, JQuery, a single page titled "home" or something... But I'm not sure where to start with CMS. If someone could get me started with some direction or even possible a theme to build off of that would be very helpful. Thanks!

Hi.

This is pretty much a carbon copy of my last reply to a similar topic...
Here are some good references about templates and stylesheets use in CMSMS:
- http://docs.cmsmadesimple.org/layout/cr ... n-template
- http://docs.cmsmadesimple.org/layout/im ... g-template
- http://docs.cmsmadesimple.org/layout/co ... e-to-cmsms
- http://docs.cmsmadesimple.org/layout/stylesheets

You can also see some of the examples:
- http://docs.cmsmadesimple.org/layout/ba ... e-template
- http://docs.cmsmadesimple.org/layout/ba ... e-template

Also check these:
- https://www.cmscanbesimple.org/blog/mul ... query-tabs
- http://www.i-do-this.com/blog/one-page- ... mplates/57

It's no exactly what you are after but there are some good tips.

You should read the docs both from the sample content of a fresh CMSMS installation and the Docs

HTH.
