Uploads module: how to display success message after upload?

Hello,
I am using the Uploads module to allow users to upload photos.
I would like to display a success message after the upload.
I know that you can redirect to a generic page after the upload. But I would like to bring the user back to the current page (i.e. the page they have just used to upload the photo), and also display a message to them.
Does anyone know if this is possible?
